Our journey: more than just VR
Discover the story, the passion, and the vision behind TrueSightVR. We're building a platform that goes beyond technology, aiming to create real-world impact through immersive experiences.

The seed of resilience: our founder's story
Zandria Nikole McCarty, owner and founder of TrueSightVR, grew up in Kemp, Texas, where resilience was a way of life. Witnessing her mother's tireless work ethic to support their family instilled in Zandria a profound understanding that strength isn't about comfort—it's about persistence. This formative experience shaped her path and fueled her desire to create meaningful change.

Why justice became our calling
Zandria's path into criminal justice was deeply personal. When her children's father went missing, she experienced firsthand the failures of a system meant to protect. Instead of compassion, she encountered harassment. This pivotal moment sparked a resolute decision: to become the reform she desperately needed but didn't receive. Her vision for change includes advocating for sentencing reform, believing that justice should be fair and not arbitrary.

Our big dream: changing critical moments
TrueSightVR is more than just virtual reality; it's about fundamentally changing how people respond in critical moments. Our ultimate goal is to empower individuals to make better decisions under pressure by providing realistic, high-stakes simulations. By experiencing challenging situations before they occur in real life, we aim to reduce conflict, improve judgment, and build genuine empathy through experience, not just theory. We envision a world where fewer situations escalate, and awareness triumphs over knee-jerk reactions.
Meet the dedicated visionaries behind TrueSightVR
The team behind TrueSightVR is currently a focused, early-stage effort led by individuals with a passion for immersive technology, real-world problem-solving, and human behavior. We combine diverse skills in VR development and simulation design, storytelling, scenario building, user experience, emotional engagement, and research into decision-making and real-world conflict. As TrueSightVR grows, we aim to expand our team with experts in psychology, training, and public safety to ensure our simulations are both realistic and impactful, helping us achieve our mission in Terrell, Texas, and beyond.
